Textile Designer (Home Textiles)

This position requires thorough understanding of Textile design with minimum 2 years experience in an Export House of Home Textiles.

Job Description:

• To conceptualize and design Soft Home Furnishing products like, Decorative Cushions, Bedspreads, Curtains, Throws, Table Linen etc. for exports.
• Work proficiently on computers to design and make CADS with Adobe Photoshop, etc.
• Forecast colours, trends and designs for export markets.
• Create samples with tailors and other crafts persons.

Candidate Requirement:

• Textile Design Graduates from National Institute of Design (NID) or National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).
• Should be able to understand buyer’s requirements, prepare samples / product development and ensure that it is done timely.
• Should be a good organizer, proactive willing team player having an eye for detail and an even temperament.
• Have good command in written and spoken English.
• Additional knowledge of Office applications like Excel, Word, Outlook will be welcome.

Should be staying in Noida or nearby or be able to commute easily.

Salary: 5.40 lakhs per annum. Higher salary can be considered on additional qualifications, experience and merits.
