Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sampling Coordinator to manage the end-to-end sampling process for international buyers. The role requires close coordination between design, merchandising, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate development and dispatch of samples.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sampling Coordination
Manage the complete sampling lifecycle from design brief to dispatch
Coordinate with design and merchandising teams for sample development
Track multiple sampling requests across buyers, seasons, and collections
2. Internal Coordination; work closely with:
- Design team (for artwork, colorways, and specifications)
- Production team (for feasibility and timelines)
- Procurement team (for fabrics, trims, and raw materials)
3. Timeline & Process Management
- Ensure strict adherence to sampling timelines
- Maintain sampling trackers and status reports
- Escalate delays or bottlenecks proactively
4. Sample Quality Control
- Check samples against buyer specifications (size, color, technique, finish)
- Ensure samples are presentation-ready for buyers.
Key Requirements
Experience: 2–5 years in sampling/merchandising (home textiles preferred)
- Education: Graduate (Textiles / Fashion / Design preferred)
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of home textile products and techniques (printing, embroidery, surface application)
Skills:
- Strong coordination and follow-up ability
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and email communication
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines
